A new anchor tenant has made its home at BioBAT. Expanding from Switzerland to Brooklyn, RegenLab USA, an international leader in regenerative medicine, is reaching a larger market in the U.S. location through their lab space at BioBAT.

RegenLab’s purpose and mission is driven by one word: medicine. As one of Europe's leaders in regenerative medicine, RegenLab’s innovations provide medical solutions for patients that can be used as alternatives for surgeries and provide aesthetic interventions. The team at RegenLab USA is excited to build and maintain their relationships with partners in the United States, where innovation is consistently supported through investments in research and technology.

New York and Brooklyn’s ability to foster innovation particularly stand out, and helped to bring RegenLabs to BioBAT. Currently, RegenLab has partnerships with SUNY Downstate and Maimonides Medical Center to facilitate and advance RegenLab’s research in passive immunization against COVID-19 through the transfer of antibodies in convalescent plasma.

Over 400,000 saliva specimens were self-collected from students, faculty and staff from 93 K-12 schools and 18 universities and tested in pools of up to 24 samples over a 20-week period during this pandemic…
